SALARY :
R1 494 900 per annum. This inclusive remuneration package consists of a
basic salary, the states’ contribution to the Government Employees Pension
Fund and a flexible portion that may be structured i.t.o. the applicable rules.
The successful candidate will be required to enter into a performance
agreement and to sign an employment contract.

REQUIREMENTS :
- An appropriate NQF level 7 qualification in Financial Management / Accounting / Business Administration as recognized by SAQA Plus 5 years’ experience at senior management level.
- Knowledge and understanding of Public Service Act and Regulation.
- Knowledge and understanding of Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations.
- Extensive knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge and understanding of Government ImmovableAsset Management Act.
- Knowledge of and understanding of government macro-economic and social policies.
- Knowledge and understanding of government supply chain management framework.
- Knowledge and understanding of General Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP)/ General Recognized Accounting Practices (GRAP).
- Knowledge and understanding of the government financial accounting and administration processes and systems.
- Sound knowledge of risk management, corporate governance and
internal controls. - Knowledge of PERSAL, BAS and LOGIS systems.

DUTIES :
- Oversee and manage procurement of goods and services in line with supply chain management policies and prescripts.
- Manage and coordinate provisioning of financial management and administration services.
- Oversee, manage, and report on the budget, human resources, and performance of the chief directorate in line with the set regulations and prescripts.
